Fiber
Cobalt Digital is pleased to introduce the following fiber optic converters for the 8321 20-slot openGear™ frame.
End-users can transmit or receive up to 40 electrical or optical channels to meet the demands of today's growing fiber environment. SDI outputs are reclocked, providing excellent jitter and return loss specifications. Cards are fully hot-swappable and support serial digital data rates from 143 Mbs up to 2.97 Gbs (1080p). No active components are installed on the rear I/O connection module, reducing down time by eliminating the need to access the back of the frame.
The 9000 series range will continue to grow, offering end-users a comprehensive solution for their terminal gear needs.
- 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Receiver The 9211-FRx is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI fiber receiver card for the 8321 openGear™ 20-slot frame. The card converts a fiber optic signal to an SDI signal.
- 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Transmitter The 9212-FTx is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI fiber transmitter (EO) card for the 8321 openGear™ 20-slot frame. The card converts an SDI signal to a fiber optic link, allowing for longer transport distances.
- Dual 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Receiver The 9213-FRxRx is a dual 3G/HD/SD-SDI fiber receiver (OE) card for the 8321 openGear™ 20-slot frame. The card converts two fiber optic signals to independent SDI output signals.
- Dual 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Transmitter The 9214-FTxTx is a dual SDI to fiber optic transmitter card for the 8321 openGear™ 20-slot frame. The card converts two SDI signals to two fiber optic links, allowing for longer transport distances.
- AES/EBU Fiber Embedder The 9215-FTx-EM accepts an HD/SD-SDI BNC input along with up to eight AES BNC audio pairs, providing embedding and audio processing. The card provides SDI outputs on HD-SD-SDI BNC and fiber outputs.
- AES/EBU Fiber De-Embedder The 9216-FRx-DM accepts HD/SD-SDI or fiber inputs and provides up to eight de-embedded AES pairs on BNC connectors. The card offers full 24-bit audio processing/routing control (card edge and remote control) for individual channel gain, delay (up to one second), phase invert, as well as channel summing.
