The award-winning openGear™ standard is the next generation solution for video and audio processing terminal equipment. openGear™ is based on the open-architecture 2RU modular frame, designed to accommodate up to 20 cards in the 8321 frame.

The openGear™ format takes application flexibility to new levels with its ability to handle 3G/HD/SD video processing cards, plus audio processing cards, from multiple manufacturers in the same frame. Full control and monitoring capabilities are available with free DashBoard™ software.

A wide variety of cards are available from terminal equipment vendors supporting the openGear™ platform, allowing facilities the freedom and flexibility to choose the best technology for their particular applications. Customers are no longer locked into one manufacturer’s frame standard and modules for their terminal equipment solutions.
