The 9822 provides HD-SDI to SD-SDI down-conversion that preserves closed captioning, timecode, AFD, and embedded audio. The down-converter allows down-conversion from several HD formats to SD, or can pass HD video without conversion.
The 9822 also provides AFD functions that detect the incoming AFD code, allow independent custom ARC to be applied for each incoming AFD code, and set the desired AFD code to be inserted on the output, even if there is no code detected on the input. Full user remote and card-edge proc control with user memory allow adjustment of gain, offset, saturation, hue, audio lvels, audio routing, frame sync, and many other controls. Factory presets enable a return to factory settings.
