HPA 2023 – Join Cobalt Digital CTO and RIST Forum President, Dr. Ciro Noronha in California, for a roundtable discussion at HPA Tech Retreat. Ciro will be discussing the RIST protocol and its applications over breakfast on Thursday, February 23.
Sportel Asia 2023 – We’re off to Bali for Sportel Asia, February 24 – 25. If you’re heading to the show swing by our booth and see how Cobalt can help you with your upcoming projects.
VSF VidTrans23 - Our CTO Dr. Ciro Noronha is heading to sunny California at the end of this month to present a RIST Forum paper. The RIST AG has recently published TR-06-4 Part 1, Source Adaptation. The TR defines a mechanism whereby devices receiving a RIST stream can provide feedback to senders on the current network conditions. Using these messages, the sender can adapt to the current conditions either by adjusting the stream bit rate, or by adjusting the stream routing if multiple links are available. This presentation will provide an overview of TR-06-4 Part 1, followed by some initial test data over actual Internet links. Ciro’s presentation is at 10:45am on Tuesday, February 28.
ABU DBS 2023 – In March we’re off to Kuala Lumpur for the ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium from March 6 – 9. The event will provide international and regional exposure to ABU members, broadcasters and the media industry alike. If you’re making plans to attend make sure you come and see us.
SVG Europe Football Summit – On March 23 we’ll be in France for SVG Europe’s Football Summit, which is being held at the Parc des Princes, Paris. The conference topics include fan engagement and the ever-evolving role that statistics and data play in match coverage and presentation. We’ll hopefully see you there!
