OGCP-9000 Remote Control Panel Wins TVT Europe STAR at IBC 2008

Cobalt Digital Inc. was recently awarded a TV Technology Europe STAR (Superior Technology Award Recipient) during the IBC 2008 show, in recognition of the new OGCP-9000 remote control panel. Designed to control and configure Cobalt’s 9000 series of cards for the openGear frame, the OGCP-9000 is a major enhancement to Cobalt's extensive line of terminal equipment.

A second remote control panel, the OGCP-9000/CC, was also launched at IBC. Both panels are designed for use with Cobalt’s full series of 9000 cards for openGear, but the OGCP-9000/CC provides special emphasis and features for Cobalt’s 9084 Color Corrector card. The 9084 is an RGB Corrector with YCbCr proc features and a frame synchronizer, and can process HD/SD SDI signals in all formats.

The OGCP-9000 remote control panel is the eighth Cobalt product to win an industry award since Cobalt’s founding in 1997.
